The Prime Minister witnesses the opening of 5 branches of “Esaaf 24” pharmacies

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, witnessed this morning, via video conference technology, the opening of 5 branches of “Esaaf 24” pharmacies, after their development, in the presence of Major General Dr. Bahaa El-Din Zidan, Chairman of the Egyptian Authority for Unified Purchasing, Medical Supply and Supply, and the Medical Technology Department, Dr. Tamer Essam, Chairman of the Egyptian Medicines Authority, Dr. Abu Al-Futouh Al-Taweel, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Egyptian Pharmaceutical Trade Company, and Dr. Ahmed Afifi, Director of CEOs at the Egyptian Medical Investments Company.

Dr. Ahmed Afifi, Director of CEOs at the Egyptian Company for Medical Investments, reviewed the most prominent efforts of Esaaf pharmacies, noting that these pharmacies work to provide medicines that are lacking in the Egyptian market, as well as providing medicines that positively affect the psychological state of the patient, and which are dispensed in cooperation with the Egyptian Medicines Authority. These pharmacies also provide all regular and therapeutic infant formulas, insulin, and oncology medications that are difficult to find in regular pharmacies.

During the opening of the five branches of “Esaaf 24” pharmacies, Dr. Mustafa Madbouly listened to an explanation from the director of each pharmacy, about the human and pharmaceutical capacity of each branch, the scope of its coverage and the areas it serves, in addition to the number of patients who visit each pharmacy daily, as they indicated that each branch is “Esaaf 24” Pharmacy operates through a number of up to 3 crews, providing its services around the clock and during holidays and official holidays. They stressed that the expansion of the branches will reduce the pressure on pharmacies and contribute to improving service.
